Sam Wong

Lawyer

Hi, I'm Samantha/Sam. I'm originally from Singapore and moved to Australia to pursue my law degree.

I joined the firm as a legal assistant/paralegal in 2022, shortly after meeting Mona and Jodie. I was admitted into practice in May 2023 with the honour of having Jodie move my admission. I am now a qualified lawyer.

Having started my career exclusively in family law, the rewarding nature of the work reaffirms my desire to grow in this area and support clients through challenging and difficult times in their lives.

As a lawyer, the opportunity to learn from the experience of seasoned lawyers is invaluable. Throughout my time at Emera Family Law, I have benefitted from the close mentorship and guidance of my colleagues. The common thread (that I strive to reflect in my work) is the sincerity and integrity in achieving cost-effective, practical and client-driven outcomes, as well as pride in obtaining excellent out-of-court settlements.

Outside of work, you can find me hitting the weights at the gym, cuddling my cat and hanging out with friends over coffee and good food (because it's Melbourne!).
